Project HOOD and Pastor Corey Brooks to Host World's Largest Baby Shower

Chicago, Ill. – Project HOOD, a non-profit organization led by Pastor Corey Brooks, is set to host the World’s Largest Baby Shower from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13. This monumental event will take place at the New Beginnings Church, located at 6620 S. King Drive.

The event is a beacon of hope in the community Project HOOD serves, where the rate of fatherlessness stands at a staggering 80%. This initiative will kick-start a renewed commitment to providing much-needed support to single mothers, while simultaneously encouraging the involvement of fathers, extended families, and the broader community.

With the World’s Largest Baby Shower, Project HOOD intends to deliver immediate, practical support to families in need, whilst spotlighting the pressing issue of fatherlessness and single parenthood that is rampant in many communities.
