But upon Alderman Coleman being elected in 2019 and because of her relentless efforts, the City of Chicago seemed have now thoroughly engaged in the productivity of our ward.” says Pastor Leslie Sanders of Hope Presbyterian Church of Englewood.

Pastor Sanders continued, “The announcement and fulfillment of so many economic development projects by Alderman Coleman has given our community the necessary boost in economic development but has also created excitement and euphoria throughout Englewood. Alderman Coleman has established herself as a true champion of delivering goods and services.”
Alderman Coleman was elected in 1999 after serving four years as the 16th ward’s Democratic Committeeman. She has been lauded by many organizations and community leaders for her unified approach to governing and managing the operations of the ward constituent service office. Alderman Coleman has also been firm in attracting jobs and other forms of economic development into the ward.

“I am grateful, honored, and blessed to represent the community in which I have called home my entire life. Moreover, the energy in which I exhibit on a daily basis is grounded in the confidence that the 16th ward residents have instilled in me.
