THE SHAKE SHACK PICKLEBALL CLUB RETURNS TO CHICAGO’S MAGGIE DALEY PARK
The Iconic Fast-Casual Chain invites Chicago to Join Them for a Day-Long Immersive Pickleball Experience Complete with Clinics, a Round Robin Tournament and More with Proceeds Benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository
CHICAGO, Ill. – Get ready to serve, smash and savor at “Shake Shack’s Pickleball Club Chicago”, an immersive pickleball experience benefiting the Chicago Food Depository on Sunday, Aug. 20, from 9 am - 3 pm at Maggie Daley Park (337 E. Randolph St.). Shake Shack invites guests of all ages and abilities to join them as they host various pickleball skill clinics throughout the day, complete with a Round Robin tournament. Tickets are on sale now via the Shake Shack website, and 25% of proceeds will go directly to helping the incredible cause of the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Attendees can choose to participate in a range of activities including:
Intro to Pickleball | 9am-10am, 10am-11am ($30 per person - 1 Hour)
Open to beginner and beginner-intermediate players, this 1-hour clinic will focus on technique, games and playing for fun. Paddles will be provided.
Beginner Advanced / Intermediate Pickleball Clinic | 10am-11am ($30 per person - 1 Hour)
Open to advanced beginner and intermediate players who are able to sustain consistent rallies. This class is perfect for those familiar to the sport that are looking to take their game up a notch or get some court time prior to tournament play. Paddles will be provided.
Round Robin Tournament | 11:30am-1:30pm ($60 Per Team - 2 Hours)
The ultimate pickleball throw down! Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles divisions will be offered for a day filled with friendly competition. Paddles will be provided if needed.
All attendees will receive access to the Shake Shack Lemonade Refreshment Station throughout the day, exclusive Shake Shack Pickleball Club merchandise and a voucher for a free ShackBurger at the location of their choice upon next visit. Winners of the Round Robin tournament will receive a Limited Edition Recess x Shake Shack Pickleball Paddle.
