EARLY WALKER IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT TO INTRODUCE “PARENTS FOR CHICAGO” COMMUNICATION LINE
TEXT AND EMAIL LINES CREATED IN RESPONSE TO RECENT “TEEN TAKEOVER”
Early Walker-CEO of I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot- will be join by CPD Director Glen Brooks, other leaders of the Chicago Police Department, Community organizations, Community Leaders, and Clergy leaders to announce a new initiative in response to the recent “Teen Takeover” in Chicago.
Walker will introduce his “Parents for Chicago” text and email communication lines that are being adopted by the Chicago Police Department in a joint response to the recent “Teen Takeover “within Chicago.
Mr. Walker and his “I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot “organization are solely financing this initiative. But Walker is hopeful that other business leaders will join in the campaign.
“It’s apparent that this unruly behavior of some of our youth has caused great harm to the health and welfare of the city of Chicago. The “Parents for Chicago” lines are being established to create a database of parents who would like to be informed when these deplorable acts of reckless conduct are being performed. But it also gives parents the opportunity to utilize this line when they learn of the next demonstration being organized by teenagers.” says Early Walker.
“I applaud Early Walker and CPD Director Glen Brooks who collaborated to establish this line of communication. Early Walker continues to bring these outstanding methods to our government officials in effort to deter crime in our neighborhoods. With community engagement “Parents for Chicago" communication line will be extremely successful.” says Bishop Larry D. Trotter of the Sweet Holy Spirit Church of Chicago.
