(Lynwood, IL) Mayor Jada D. Curry and the Village of Lynwood are set to host a Pre-Veterans Day luncheon in honor of the many veterans that have served throughout the local community. Veterans Day is one of the many notable holidays that area residents who've served in the armed forces look forward to experiencing. The free luncheon for all veterans will be proudly hosted by Lynwood Police Department at Lencioni’s Restaurant. Mayor Jada Curry hopes that the many Veterans that have served will attend.
“Veterans Day is a time when we celebrate and honor the many people who have served our country with selflessness. Though our residents can enjoy celebration anywhere, we’d love for them to join us in honoring them for their contributions. The Village of Lynwood and the Police Department are proud to welcome all local veterans to the luncheon. I’d like to thank Oak Street Health for being a proud sponsor of this memorable event. As we sector into the holidays, we want our veterans to know they are valued. I encourage everyone to attend,” says Mayor Jada Curry.
Non-residential students are welcome to sign up as well. To RSVP, contact Sgt. Larry Weinbrecht, at (708)- 758- 4744 or email Lweinbrecht@villageoflynwood.net.
