RICH TOWNSHIP COUNSELORS ARE RAMPED UP!

Over the two years the Rich Township Counseling Department has spent tireless hours becoming RAMP certified! The following individuals have dedicated their time to ensuring the students of Rich Township High School are moving in the right direction:  LaShanna Clark, Dana Cudjoe, Christine Drabick, Stacye Hopkins, Paul Jurges, Daniel Lawrence, Josephine Pulido, Angela Rich, Sherita Sabbat, LaQuitha Snow, Kina Thomas, and Debra Wright.

The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) professional organization based in Alexandria, Va. ASCA promotes student success by expanding the image and influence of school counseling through leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and systemic change.

ASCA helps school counselors guide their students toward academic achievement, career planning and social/emotional development to help today’s students become tomorrow’s productive, contributing members of society. Founded in 1952, ASCA has a network of 50 state and territory associations and a membership of more than 42,000 school counseling professionals.

The Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) recognizes schools committed to delivering comprehensive, data-informed school counseling programs. These programs, which align with the ASCA National Model, exemplify school counseling at its best.

This certification is going to drive Rich Township's school counseling program to the next level, by delivering data-informed counseling for our students.
