Chicago Children’s Choir Announces Bank of America as Presenting Sponsor of its 2019 Community Concert Series
Chicago Children’s Choir (CCC) announced today that Bank of America has been named the presenting sponsor of its 2019 Community Concert Series, which directly supports CCC’s after-school programs across the City. Supporting the local Chicago arts community is a priority for Bank of America. This partnership marks Bank of America’s ongoing support of CCC and an increased commitment to $25,000 to directly impact the neighborhoods and youth where it serves.
With over 5,000 participants, ages 8-18, in CCC programs overall, 1,000 of those youth are reached through one of CCC’s 10 Neighborhood Choirs in diverse areas throughout Chicago. CCC will expand to include the Bucktown Neighborhood Choir this Fall to further its mission of changing and inspiring lives through music. Thanks to sponsors like Bank of America, the Community Concert Series is an opportunity for the Neighborhood Children’s Choirs to bring their communities together and celebrate through music.
“Our Neighborhood Choir programs provide children with access to our high quality music programs right in their own neighborhoods and teach them to be civic ambassadors of their community within their neighborhoods and beyond,” said Josephine Lee, CCC President and Artistic Director. “We are honored to receive this generous grant from Bank of America, allowing us to continue our mission of impacting the lives of so many Chicagoans through music.”
Bank of America chose to sponsor the 2019 Community Concert Series because of its deep impact in the local communities where it also serves. “We are thrilled to partner with Chicago Children’s Choir and its Community Concert Series to further our mutual mission of connecting Chicago neighborhoods while supporting local arts and its youth,” said Paul Lambert, Bank of America Chicago Market President. “Our neighborhood Bank of America branch representatives are excited to attend each concert to demonstrate our commitment and foster a deeper sense of community.”
