Grant Memorial AME Church Celebrates 104 years of God's Faithfulness And Service To The Community
Grant Memorial AME Church, 4017 South Drexel Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois, will have its 104th Anniversary and Homecoming Celebration on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Founded in 1914, the church, over the years has grown spiritually and the programs and activities have continued to enhance the quality of life of the members as well as the broader community.
To commemorate the Celebration, the church, will have a 10:45 am Worship Service, and Anniversary Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. and the Anniversary/Homecoming Revival at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. James F. Miller, pastor of DuPage AME Church in LIsle, IL, will be the speaker for the afternoon service. The music ministry will be provided by a reunion of choir members and former musicians. The Grant Memorial AME Church fialy is inviting everyone to join them during this celebration.
The Reverend Attorney Samuel Mendenhall is the Pastor and athe Anniversary Chairperson is Sis. Jo Ann Hawkins White.
