Keranique Announces Charitable Partnership with HairToStay for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Keranique®, the Women's Hair Growth Experts™, recently announced a new partnership with national nonprofit organization, HairToStay, as part of their mission to restore the confidence in women who experience hair loss.

Starting this month for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Keranique will kick off a fundraiser that donates profits directly to HairToStay.

“We are so excited to be partnering with such an amazing organization that shares our same mission to help women feel beautiful even in times of distress. This

cause really hits home for us as a brand and it's an honor to be able to lend our support. Keranique was created as a response to the needs of our own family members who were recovering from illness and were looking for solutions which would boost their self-confidence," says Andrew Surwilo, Co-Founder and CEO of Atlantic Coast Brands.

HairToStay is the first and only national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients afford scalp cooling, a treatment that can dramatically reduces chemotherapy induced hair loss. As well as subsidizing the treatment, they help to raise awareness and offer information and support to patients considering the use of scalp cooling to keep their hair during chemotherapy.

To launch this partnership, Keranique dedicated their HSN 'Today's Special' which aired on October 3rd, 2018 to this charitable initiative by donating $2 of all sales for the day to HairToStay. Furthermore, for the entire month of October, for every sale of Keranique's top-selling Hair Regrowth System from Keranique. com and participating retailers including Sephora.com, Ulta.com, Skinstore.com and HSN.com, the brand will contribute $2 to HairToStay, in order to increase access to subsidies for low income patients using scalp cooling to reduce hair loss during chemotherapy.

"We feel incredibly fortunate to be partnering with Keranique," said Bethany Hornthal, Co-Founder of HairToStay. "Our partnership means that many more patients will be able to afford a treatment that can help them retain their privacy, identity and sense of well being during cancer treatment. Additionally, even with scalp cooling, most people will experience some thinning and hair loss, so Keranique's Hair Regrowth products are an especially good fit."
