Town Hall Meeting at Avalon Park

Eighth Ward Alderman Michelle Harris will host an upcoming fall 8th Ward “Committed to the Community,” Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Avalon Park Field House, 1215 East 83rd Street.

“Many local residents are unaware of all the great resources and programs offered by the City of Chicago to help them in their daily lives,” said Alderman Harris.

“I encourage everyone to come out, and tell your family, friends and neighbors as well. This 8th Ward Town Hall event allows them to access information about a wide range of city services in a convenient location.”

During the session, residents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various city departments and agencies including

the Department of Water Management; Chicago Dept. of Transportation (CDOT); Streets & Sanitation; Dept. Of Buildings; Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP), among others.

Peoples Gas and ComEd will also be on hand to answer questions,

resolve issues and discuss cost-saving rebates and other programs.
