HR Essentials for Supervisors and Managers
The South Suburban College Business & Career Institute (BCI) presents a Breakfast with BCI Workshop titled HR Essentials for Supervisors & Managers, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., with check-in and continental breakfast to begin at 8:15 a.m. This workshop will be held in the South Suburban College Main Campus in the MB Financial Suite on the 1st floor, and will be facilitated by Attorney Sonia D. We live in a litigious society and businesses are not immune. Protecting your company involves ensuring your managers and supervisors are trained on important HR laws and best practices. Whether you’ve been recently promoted, are a veteran supervisor or are working a non-HR job with HR responsibilities, this workshop is worth the investment. In this interactive session, participants will:
• Receive updates and gain understanding on issues related to EEO, ADA, FMLA and other relevant employment laws.
• Obtain up-to-date information on sexual harassment and bullying.
• Learn essential best practices for hiring and terminating employees.
The cost of the workshop with continental breakfast is $45 per person or $40 per person if 3 or more from the same company attend. Reservations are required by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22nd.
