R&B Funk Music Group LAKESIDE Live at the TASTE of Thornton Township SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 2018
Chicago, IL. Thornton Township will hosts its 17th Annual TASTE of Thornton Township Celebration, located at South Suburban College, 15800 S. State Street, South Holland, Illinois on Saturday, August 25, 2018, 10:00AM –7:00PM.
The great R&B funk musical band LAKESIDE is the main act for the TASTE entertainment. LAKESIDE known for their musical hits such as Fantastic Voyage, Something About That Woman, Bullseye, It’s All The Way Live and many many more R&B funk music “jams”.
Frank M. Zuccarelli, President of Thornton Township said, “The Taste is one of our largest events and brings people throughout Thornton Township in one place to enjoy great live music, food and family entertainment.”
Other Entertainment includes Thornton Township Youth Mexican Folkloric Dancers, Line Dancing, Chicago Boyz Acrobats, “Rico” - Michael Jackson Impersonator, “Tony Wilson” – James Brown Impersonator, “Dorothy Roberson” – Tina Turner Impersonator, Visions of Santana, Past Life and a cameo appearance by Trysh Granberry – “America’s Got Talent” Contestant.
ENTERTAINMENT IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
Thornton Township Trustee Joyce M. Washington said, “This event is for the community to come together and enjoy food, entertainment, family and friends. We appreciate our great community. This year’s Taste of Thornton Township will have a variety of entertainment for attendees from as far as Chicago, Indiana, and local residents.”
“Everybody come on out. Lakeside is one of my favorite music groups,” said Thornton Township Trustee Stafford.
