Clarity Clinic Makes Plans For a New Loop Location

The Clarity Clinic is a unique and fast-growing mental health facility that specializes in adult, pediatric, couples, and family psychotherapy, and psychiatry. Clarity Clinic is currently in the midst of opening a new location in the Loop that will offer their Clinical Psychiatry and Therapy services to even more Chicagoans.

The staff at Clarity Clinic provides holistic care through psychiatry, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy that helps their patients achieve mental clarity, a better work-life balance, and wellness in their careers and personal lives.

“We specialize in literally everything from geriatric patients who struggle with dementia all the way to children and adolescents who have anxiety disorders and then everything else in-between including substance abuse, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, we see everything,” said Dr. Sankrant Reddy, chief medical officer for Clarity Clinic.

It is the wide variety of services, treatment programs, and mental health professionals all under one roof that sets Clarity Clinic apart from other mental health facilities, according to Reddy.

“What’s unique about Clarity Clinic is that we have all of that under one roof so patients are able to have a better continuity of care because their psychiatrist and their therapist are in the same building and that allows for us to communicate with each other to ultimately provide better care to the patients. Sometimes as psychiatrists, we can’t always be there and we can’t spend a full hour with our patient, we might only have 20 minutes, so touching base with their counselor who sees them for an hour a week can be very insightful and that’s something that is definitely unique to Clarity Clinic,” said Reddy.

There is not an official opening date for the Loop location but Clarity Clinic is hoping to be up and running downtown in 2019.

“We are a growing company and that speaks to the demand and the need for mental health as well as our clinicians, we have a really good team which fosters growth as well,” said Reddy.

For anyone who thinks they might have a mental health problem or is dealing with a life stressor, Reedy said it never hurts to come in and be screened by a counselor.

“The type of patients we see are people that have work stress all the way up to people who were just released from a psychiatric hospital or a rehab center so we have a really wide variety of patients and our treatment plans are all individualized and specific to their needs. We believe in an empowering philosophy where we work with our patients to come up with a treatment plan and we really value their thoughts and we always present all the options for treatment and work with the patients to pick the best option for them or the one that they feel most comfortable with,” said Reddy.
