Three West Side Men Charged in Shooting
The Chicago Police Department announced this week that three men were taken into custody in connection to a shooting that occurred in the 3000 block of W. Lexington Avenue.
According to police officials, on September 27, 2015, at approximately 9:40 pm, two adult males were standing outside when the offenders fired shots from a vehicle striking both of them. Officers in the area then observed the offending vehicle fleeing the scene and a traffic pursuit ensued. The offenders were apprehended and subsequently taken into custody and charged.
Terris Williams, 21, of the 4300 block of West Washington Boulevard, was charged with one felony count of aggravated fleeing.
David Stuart, 23, of the 1600 block of South Komensky Avenue, was charged with one felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Johnny Richardson, 30, of the 800 block of South Kedzie Avenue, was charged with one felony count unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
Several weapons, including a rifle, were recovered on the scene.
The first victim, an 18-year-old male, was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition after he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. The second victim, a 23-year-old man, refused medical attention on the scene with a graze wound to the wrist.
Three men charged are scheduled to attend a bond hearing of Circuit Court of Cook County this week.
