A Nashville company is suing comedian Steve Harvey over a private jet.
According to The Tennessean, the company said the comedian and TV host failed to pay about $200,000 owed for custom alterations to the aircraft.
The company, business aircraft leasing, filed the lawsuit last Wednesday. It claims Harvey agreed to pay $400,000 to customize a Gulfstream jet that he promised to lease for $97,000 a month.
One World Aviation, a company Harvey owns or operates, is also named in the suit.
Harvey, 58, host of radio program The Steve Harvey Morning Show and TV host of Steve Harvey and Family Feud, has not responded to the complaint.
Earlier this month in Las Vegas, Harvey incorrectly announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner at the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was actually the winner. Harvey apologized for the mistake shortly afterwards but not before Gutierrez started her victory walk down the stage.
