As a way to provide Triton College students with seamless transitions into four-year universities, Triton College School of Business is working to develop new partnerships with Chicagoland universities including Robert Morris University and National Louis University, where students can legitimately transfer credits towards a baccalaureate business program.

Triton students who earn their A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree can pursue a B.S. in Management at National Louis University.

“Our mission is to help both transfer students and those seeking employment, prepare for the workplace environment,” said Dr. William Griffin, chair of Triton’s School of Business. “These top-notch institutions believe in the quality education we provide to our students, and we’re thrilled that they’ve signed on to partner with us on this mission to prepare students for success.”

Triton students completing their Associate in Science or Applied Science degree in one of Triton’s business and/or accounting programs are eligible to enroll in Robert Morris University’s Business Administration bachelor’s degree program at junior level status.

Students also will be able to complete their bachelor’s degree at Robert Morris University in as little as 15 months.

According to their website, Robert Morris University is an independent, not-for-profit, multi-location institution offering associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs that focus on integrating theory and applications. Robert Morris University prepares students to be practitioners in their chosen fields, socially responsible to their communities, and a foundation for their families.

"The relationship Robert Morris University Illinois has formed with Triton, is an example of providing value and service to students who are looking to complete their bachelor's degree at an accelerated pace and as economically as possible," said RMU Provost Mablene Krueger.

According to The Chronicle of Higher Education, RMU's graduation rate ranks in the TOP 5 among private not-for-profit universities in Illinois.

Founded in 1886, National Louis University, a nonprofit, non-denominational University, comprised of three colleges:  National College of Education; College of Arts and Sciences; and College of Management and Business, provides educational access to adult, immigrant and minority populations offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in education, management, human services, counseling, public policy, and other areas concerned with human and community development.
