Animal Clinic Opens In Bronzeville
Bronzeville Animal Clinic is a new, full service veterinary hospital offering a full array of services including surgical procedures and consultations on nutrition and training.

As a lifelong resident of the South-side, I wanted to offer my services to my community. While providing veterinary care along the North Shore for most of my career, I noticed a gap in my own neighborhood. Therefore, when the time came for me to open a clinic, I decided to come home. In just the last week I have discussed holistic care for liver disease in an 11 year old black Lab, made an appointment for a doves annual physical, and scheduled two guinea pigs for nail trims, and a kitten for vaccinations, just to name a few. Im happy and excited to be in Bronzeville serving all creatures wise and wonderful, said Gill.
Dr. Sophia Gill is an alumna of Hyde Parks St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary and Kenwood Academy. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gill has over 14 years experience providing complete and comprehensive medical care to pets of all kinds.
Bronzeville Animal Clinic is conveniently located at the corner of East 31st Street and South Indiana Avenue.
