Dawn Hines is a newly minted member of the QBG Mentoring Committee. The committees main objective is to broaden the horizons of local youth through mentoring activities such as group sessions and life coaching.
Hines earned a bachelor and master degree from Howard University in criminal justice and put them both to good use. For ten years, working as the Asst. Hines, who opened the Dawn Hines State Farm Agency nearly six years ago after retiring early from the state, says that she is thrilled to be a QBG mentor.
I am excited to be a part of the QBG mentoring committee, as I believe I can use my experience coupled with my love and concern for young people to make a difference. I am filled with vigor and excitement about what is to come of our committee, she said.
