Nalls family and Lioncrest residents and children were in attendance at the park dedication.

The Village of Richton Park presented a proclamation to the family of Irma Jean Nalls, a resident for 22 years and volunteer of the community. On Saturday, September 24, 2011, the Lioncrest Homeowner Association honored her by renaming their subdivisions tot lot as the Irma Nalls Memorial Tot Lot.

Nalls was part of many village events including the Homeowner Association Community Appreciation Day for two years, Neighborhood Watch, coordinator for their Summer Luau. Nalls served as coordinator and co-chair for several youth and community activities, including but not limited to the cheerleaders summer camp, youth club, and the Annual Cookout Basketball Tournament. Nalls was honored for her years of volunteerism in the inaugural I Make a Difference Awards ceremony in 2008.

Nalls will be remembered not only amongst her neighbors in Lioncrest, but throughout Richton Park. The Board of Trustees and Village Staff

mutually and individually convey their deepest sympathy to the family of Irma Jean Nalls.
