Boeing Announces Deals For 43 Planes Worth $7.2B
LE BOURGET, France (AP) _ On the second day of the Paris Air Show, Boeing has announced deals for 43 planes worth $7.2 billion at list prices.
Russia's Aeroflot ordered eight 777-300ERs worth $2.3 billion.
The Norwegian Air Shuttle ordered 15 737-800s worth $1.2 billion.
Malaysian Airlines ordered 10 737-800s worth $800 million.
Boeing also announced an agreement Tuesday with GE Capital Aviation Services for two 747-8 freighters and eight 777-300ERs. If completed the order would be worth about $2.9 billion.
On the first day of the show, Boeing announced orders and commitments for 56 planes worth about $11 billion.
