MLK III, Andrew Young Co-Founders Of Black Network
ATLANTA (AP) - Martin Luther King III and civil rights icon Andrew Young are among the founders of a television network aimed at African-Americans set to launch this fall.
Bounce TV will offer programming around the clock, targeting blacks ages 25 to 54 with movies, sports, documentaries, faith-based programs and original programming.
The network has acquired television rights to nearly 400 movies, including classics like The Wiz and Car Wash; several Spike Lee productions such as Jungle Fever, Mo' Better Blues and Do the Right Thing; and Denzel Washington headliners like The Hurricane, Glory and Philadelphia.
