Liz Claiborne Says Brands' Revenue Figure Falls
NEW YORK - Women's clothing retailer Liz Claiborne said Monday a key revenue figure fell for some brands in February.
The company said revenue in stores open at least one year fell 5 percent at Juicy Couture, 8 percent at Mexx Europe and 3 percent at Mexx Canada.
Other brands performed better. Revenue in stores open at least one year rose 12 percent at Lucky Brand and 87 percent at Kate Spade.
The figure is an important gauge of retailer health because it measures growth at existing locations, rather than from expansion.
